The collection celebrates the spirit of Britishness through live music, featuring conversations with stars from all walks of life to illustrate Burberry’s timelessness as a festival icon, recreating the attitude and character of the 1990’s and reinterpreting it for today,“ said Daniel Lee, ”In the height of summer, Burberry is a vehicle for creative expression and a must-have robe for festival-goers. Burberry is both a vehicle for creative expression and a must-have for festival-goers in the height of summer,” said Daniel Lee.

Liam Gallagher and his children were joined by the legendary Goldie, a new generation of musical talent, to continue Burberry’s enduring legacy. For this occasion, Liam wore a snow and wind coat from the Christopher Bailey Spring/Summer 2018 collection, which will be reproduced globally in limited quantities in July, both in offline boutiques and online.

Goldie commented, “Burberry is already weaving its British heritage, whether it’s on the inside of a hat or the lining of a jacket, the Burberry plaid is subtle, yet eye-catching and unique.”
The soundtrack for the campaign is Liquid’s “Sweet Harmony,” an anthem of the times with a broken beat and piano melody that still resonates on the British festival circuit since its single release 34 years ago.

Staple Styles
The new Highland bag features a jacquard weave in Burberry check with a waterproof coating to withstand the weather at English music festivals. Portable ponchos and hooded jackets are available in Burberry check and solid colors. Also available are cotton Harrington jackets, nylon and coated cotton gabardine parkas in classic British designs.
Mini kilts and rubber boots are paired with leather jackets, pompom styles and washed satin Trench coats for rain or shine. The sun-kissed look is enhanced by unbuttoned plaid shirts and loose-fitting T-shirts with cinched waistbands that transform into lightweight dresses, while the Burberry plaid is interpreted in a mix of heritage and new-season colors in tank tops, polo shirts and bikini styles that make a strong statement.
The iconic 1980s bag pattern is revitalized for summer. The Knight’s Seal is interpreted on an oversized scale on plain weave cotton t-shirts, or as a badge on jackets and accessories, while the Burberry check is woven into denim and plain weave in the same color scheme, and transformed into a diamond jersey pattern.
The iconic Burberry check Marsh rubber boots are featured in a number of festival looks, as well as the Moor hiking shoe, leather Potter wooden sole and suede Urchin slipper, while the Terrace sneaker and mesh Matrix sneaker add a sporty vibe to the festival grounds.
The slouchy backpack features curved lines, Burberry check and quilted elements, while the Horseshoe bag takes its cue from the outdoors. The jewelry and accessories collection is inspired by English nature, with shield, frog and horse pendants in 925 silver.
