ANTEPRIMA Fall/Winter 2025 Milan Fashion Show A modern and original artistic exploration in collaboration with the famous Japanese artist Izumi Kato.

When designers look to art for inspiration, art sets the stage for fashion, making clothing a walking work of art.

The ANTEPRIMA Fall/Winter 2025 collection brings the dialogue between art and fashion even closer. Creative Director Izumi Ogino, who is passionate about art and has collaborated with a number of artists, has been inspired by Japanese artist Kato Izumi to create a series of wearable and collectible works of art.

No one and Nowhere

Izumi Kato’s work is characterized by mystery. Growing up in Shimane, Japan’s “land of myths”, he creates interesting and mysterious embryonic creatures.

In the blurred background of colors, he seems to float in a realm that is neither here nor there.

He never carefully explains the concept and message of each piece, but rather opens it up for the viewer to experience on their own.

Just as Izumi Ogino hopes that women will be free to wear their own personal style, find their own unique beauty, and gain strength from fashion, Izumi Ogino also hopes that women will be free to wear their own personal style.

Modern Primitive

The fall/winter collection intertwines the past with the future, exploring a world that is both ancient and futuristic, primitive and sophisticated:

Intriguing tribal totems, organic shapes and a futuristic array of mysterious humanoids and animals.

Deep earthy colors are combined with a touch of vibrant, offbeat hues to create a look that is somewhere between retro-primitive and futuristic fantasy.

New Elegance with an Artistic Twist

ANTEPRIMA treats fabrics as canvases and interprets them with human craftsmanship in terms of texture, color and emotion.

Known for its exquisite knitting techniques and high-end fabrics, ANTEPRIMA utilizes materials such as cashmere, wool-silk blends, and Alpaca wool.

ANTEPRIMA uses soft and lightweight knits, asymmetrical cuts, and oversize silhouettes to create fun, comfortable clothing for all ages and genders.

Special weaves and techniques are used to create deliberately broken hems and exposed seams, retaining a hint of the original, hand-crafted texture.

Playful Art Paradox

ANTEPRIMA WIREBAG has become the designer’s canvas.

Woven with futuristic materials, the WIREBAG combines Izumi Kato’s colorful paintings, embroideries and primitive totems to add a fascinating and mysterious atmosphere.

A three-dimensional humanoid animal pin and leaf buds extending from the bag make the WIREBAG a fun and vibrant accessory.

The enlarged version of the TWIST WIREBAG also made its debut on the runway.

“ANTEPRIMA FW25-26 embraces the past and the future, the familiar and the unknown.

This is where fashion meets art and the lines between the two become blurred.

The collection showcases wearable art, each piece with its own story, evoking emotion and wonder.”
